The College of Health Related Professions offers the Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. As a nuclear medicine technology major you will learn how to use radioactive tracers to diagnose and treat a wide variety of abnormal conditions. Nuclear medicine technologists receive their education in two parts: the pre-professional component which lasts three years and the professional component which lasts one year and is taken at UAMS beginning in the Fall Semester.
